100 Days of Pie: Week 5

Curse my attention span.  This is a fun project but now that it’s not shiny and new, it’s harder to come up with a new idea every day.  Still, discipline and whatnot.  Here we go.

Day 29: Coconut and Chocolate Cream Pie
Coconut cream pie with a chocolate twist.

Day 30: Rhubarb and Orange
Flaky pie with whip cream topping.

Day 31: Gooseberry Mango Tart
Short crust tart with uncooked filling.  Lots of fun to say.  Go on, try it.

Day 32: Duck Confit Tart
Thyme shortcrust filled with duck confit topped with sliced duck breast.  Inspired by recent posts over Eat Drink Breathe.

Day 33: Ginger Pie
Ginger cream filling with a gingerbread crust.

Day 34: Toaster Pie
Flaky crust with jam or chocolate filling in a flat package.  Cook in your toaster!

Day 35: Fig and Juniper Berry Pie
Spiced shortcrust tart with figs and juniper berries in honey.
